These puzzle ornaments are so cute. I loved putting them together. The glue does take awhile to dry and you have to be careful what you lay them down to dry on. I used newspaper and they stick a little. Will try foil next time. I am sending 3 to my cousin so she can put them together for the holidays. I didn't get a spatula either, but that's no problem. I used some of the cardboard that was used as packaging material and it was fine.
Would love to do whole tree in theses with different Christmas themes....absolutely love them!!! Boy t 9 sets to give as gifts for families to do together and make memories every time they look at them.
I had my dad assemble these during his battle with cancer. After he passed, I gave them to family members as a way to remember all the good times we had putting together puzzles. Needless to say, there were lots of tears this past Christmas. But, lots of memories too. I used self-laminate instead of the glue. I agree with the other reviews that the backing needs to be tacked to the puzzle. And, keeping them in the frame can be a challenge.
I loved making these puzzle ornaments. They came out really cute. I didn't care for the glue though. Takes way too long to dry.
I bought 3 of these sets. Sent one to our crafty Daughter-in-Love...My husband, son and I put a set together. We used too much glue (and only used half of the glue that came with the set) I put them on parchment covered cookie sheet to dry. 3 days later, still tacky. I changed from parchment to foil when I realized it was starting to stick to the parchment. By the 3rd day, they were finally drying, but starting to curl up a little. We put them in the frames. They look so cute! We only got 3 backings...so had to cut a backing out with my own cardboard. I took pictures of them (on the tree) to send with gift to our Daughter...two of them fell out with backing. Going to do a dab of glue to make sure that they stay together. That being said...I would buy again because they are so cute! My suggestion is better instructions, check and make sure that the set is complete with the right amount of backings...and we did not receive a cardboard spatula After all of this, I still gave 4 stars because the idea and the little puzzles are beautiful.
