Very easy to open - good for quite a young child. Access to box is a smallish hole which is integral to the opening mechanism. This limits what can be kept inside. My two-star rating is because the finish isn't great - very rough around the hole in the base that you put things into the box and get them out through. Jean Claude Constantin is a great puzzle box designer, so I am surprised that he put his name to this because of the poor quality of finish.

Cute box. Easy to open.
This is a nice little box, but isn't much of a puzzle to open. If you're looking for a fun box for a child this is a good choice, but it won't be much of a challenge to open.
